Safety Policy

1. Supervision

• as much as possible, there will be At least one trained facilitator present in the playing area to supervise gameplay and maintain safety oversight.

• Facilitators are responsible for monitoring participants and enforcing safety rules as part of their supervisory role.

2. Pre-Game Safety Briefing

All participants will receive a mandatory safety briefing before gameplay begins, which includes:

• No Rough Play or Physical Contact.

• Pushing, hitting, tackling, or any intentional physical contact is strictly prohibited.

• No Misuse of Equipment.

• Laser tag equipment must not be used to strike, throw, or physically interact with other participants.

• Safe Conduct and Personal Space.

• Participants must maintain safe distances and avoid behaviour that may cause collisions or injury.

• No Tampering with Obstacles, laser tag equipment and surrounding objects, if any.

• Obstacles, barricades, and structures must not be moved, climbed, or tampered with.

• Participants must avoid reckless movement, including unsafe running or blind rushing.

• Compliance with Instructions - All instructions issued by facilitators must be followed immediately and without delay.

3. Risk Acknowledgement

Participants are reminded that:

• Laser tag activities involve physical movement, obstacles, and interaction with other participants.

• Despite safety measures, there remains an inherent risk of accidental contact or injury.

• This policy is to be read together with the Waiver Agreement, under which participants/parents acknowledge and assume such risks.

4. In-Game Safety Management

• Facilitators may pause or stop gameplay at any time where safety concerns arise.

• Safety instructions are mandatory and must be complied with immediately.

• Facilitators will actively supervise and intervene where necessary to prevent unsafe conduct.

5. Enforcement

• First breach: Verbal warning

• Second breach or repeated unsafe behavior: Removal from current game

• Serious or intentional misconduct: Immediate removal from the activity

• LaserTech-X LLP reserves the right to remove any participant deemed unsafe or disruptive.

• Such removal shall be consistent with the Waiver Agreement, under which no compensation or claims shall arise from removal.

6. Injury Response

• Gameplay may be paused or stopped to manage any injury or safety concern.

• First aid will be provided where appropriate.

• Escalation procedure:

• Minor injury: On-site assistance and monitoring

• Moderate injury: Parent/organiser notified promptly

• Serious injury: Emergency services contacted if required

7. Participant Responsibility

• Participants are required to behave responsibly and comply with all safety instructions.

8. Equipment & Environment

• Equipment is checked prior to use to ensure it is in safe working condition.

• The playing area is monitored to reduce foreseeable hazards and maintain safe conditions for gameplay.

9. Legal Alignment

This Safety Policy:

• is intended to operate in conjunction with the Waiver Agreement;

• does not limit or contradict the assumption of risk, release, or indemnity provisions therein; and

• shall be interpreted consistently with the Waiver Agreement to the fullest extent permissible under Singapore law.

10. Acknowledgement

• Participation in the activity constitutes acknowledgement of this Safety Policy and agreement to comply with all safety instructions issued by facilitators.

I hereby declare that:

I am either (a) the parent/legal guardian of the participant named below, or (b) the participant myself if I am aged 18 years or above, and that the participant is taking part in the Laser Tag activity of his/her/my own free will and volition. I am aware of the risks involved, including physical movement, obstacles, and possible accidental contact which may result in injury.

• I acknowledge that while facilitators supervise the activity, they do not provide one-to-one supervision at all times, and participants are required to follow all safety rules, including no rough play, no physical contact, and no misuse of equipment.

  I agree that the participant may be removed from the activity at any time if deemed unsafe or disruptive, and that no compensation or claims will arise from such removal.

• (a) I do hereby absolve, acquit and discharge LaserTech-X LLP and its officers, employees, agents or volunteers from all or any responsibility, actions, causes of action, claims, demands and obligations whatsoever arising from any loss or damage (including, without limitation and to the extent permissible by law, physical injury, loss of life or property damage) caused by or sustained as a result of the participant’s participation in the Event; and

• (b) I will indemnify and keep indemnified, save and hold harmless LaserTech-X LLP and its officers, employees, agents or volunteers against all losses, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, costs or expenses (including legal fees), and any other liability arising in any way from the participant’s participation in the Laser Tag Event, whether arising from accidental or intentional acts, including injury caused to other participants or damage to property.

  I confirm that this declaration is made in conjunction with the full Waiver Agreement and Safety Policy provided by LaserTech-X LLP, which I have read and accepted.

  I confirm that the participant is fit to participate and that I have read and understood the above.
